President and Chief Operating Officer of DSS, Mr. Bzdick joined the company in 2010 following the Company’s acquisition of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Premier Packaging Corporation, a company which he founded in 1989 and served as the Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Bzdick became a director of Document Security Systems in March 2010. As COO, Bob uses his 29 years of experience in manufacturing operations management to integrate and strengthen DSS’s three production divisions of over 100 employees, to service DSS’s globalizing Fortune 1000 customer-base. Mr. Bzdick was appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer of DSS. He will serve as Acting CEO until the close of the merger between the Company and Lexington Technology Group.
Prior to founding Premier Packaging Corporation, Mr. Bzdick held positions of Controller, Sales Manager, and General Sales Manager at the Rochester, New York division of Boise Cascade, LLC (later Georgia Pacific Corporation). He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology’s Business Administration with a degree in Marketing/Finance.
Phil Jones joined the Company in 2005 as Controller and Principal Accounting Officer and has been the Company’s Chief Financial Officer since May 2009. Jones also serves as the Company's Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Phil has 17 years of experience in the accounting and finance sector and brings a wide range of SEC and public company reporting experience and hands- on operation skills to DSS.
Mr. Wicker is responsible for product awareness and the development of solutions for clients' documents and brand packaging needs. As a member of the Wicker Group from 1991 to 1998, he was involved in security printing licensing and implementation of newly patented technology to 104 forms printers in six countries.
Mr. Caton directly serves the technical needs of the DSS-patented anti-counterfeiting system with licensees. He joined DSS in 2004 and has worked closely with Mr. Wicker to develop some of the most sophisticated anti-counterfeiting technology in the world for documents such as currency, car titles, and travelers checks.
Jeff has served as Vice President, General Counsel of DSS since February 2011. He is responsible for oversight of the company’s corporate governance policies, regulatory compliance, and corporate transactional matters, including federal and stock exchange regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, domestic and foreign intellectual property filings and licensing, litigation strategy, employment matters, and management of the company’s outside counsel relationships.
